Lecture 11: Podcast Reply by Kieren Boddy
Hope you don't mind me, I thought I would reply to your questions, Jess, by another video podcast thing. I will stick the script I wrote on here later.
This module gives an introduction to key ideas in critical and cultural theory that affect creative technologies and the creative industries.
The syllabus includes Modernism and Postmodernism, Structuralism and Poststructuralism, Feminism, Semiotics, Linguistic Theory, Anthropology, Rhizomes, The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction, Noise and Communication, Escience and Esocial science and The Ethnography of Cyberspace.

Great stuff Kieren. I know your post generated quite some discussion in our lecture.
I would like to hear your thoughts on the motivations of "tendencies."
Regarding the article I pointed you to, you say it's too short. What aspect/s would you like to see expanded?
I hope you put the script up soon too.
Thanks for your participation! Great job Kieren.
